You ("Client") should understand that the results of any training program cannot be guaranteed and your progress depends on your own effort and cooperation during and after sessions. In particular you should acknowledge that individual results may vary.
No responsibility is accepted and all responsibility is hereby disclaimed for any loss, injury, sickness, or damage suffered as the result of use or misuse of any information gained via the web site.
The Trainer's Obligations:
The trainer will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise to achieve the client’s goals.
This will take into account: the client's age, health, lifestyle, background, occupation, fitness levels, likes and dislikes related to exercise and personality.
The Trainer will endeavour to educate, motivate and inspire the Client to reach these goals.
The trainer will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that the client will need to help them achieve their goals during each session.
Health Screening - All clients must complete a PAR-Q and Informed Consent before commencing any exercise programme.
Your trainer may require a letter of 'medical clearance' from your GP depending on your health status. (Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter)
Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
To lead by example and give 100% commitment.
To be completely honest if goals are unattainable.
The Client's Obligations:
Be on time so that a full session can be achieved on each visit. Arrive 10 minutes early to warm up and stay 10 minutes after to cool down and stretch.
The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Clothes should be loose fitting and non-restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.
Commit to the programme 100% in order to achieve results.
Provide all information needed to achieve goals eg. Food diary.
If the trainer requires, provide further medical information from a practitioner.
Packages are booked on a pre-pay basis and all packages must be paid for in advance/at the start of the initial session of that block.
Individual sessions booked must be paid before the session, unless previously agreed by Target Personal Training.
Prices will be reviewed on an annual basis. Where there is a price revision, it will be published on the website and you will be informed by your trainer.
Purchased sessions/classes are non refundable and must be used within 4 months.
48 hours notice of cancellation is required for all personal training appointments. 24 hours notice is required for all bootcamp classes.
Notice of less than this time will incur a full payment of the session fee.
At least 48 hrs notice is required to re-arrange a session; this can only be done if the trainer has the availability you need. If the trainer is unavailable to re-arrange, the session would either need to be kept or be cancelled.
If the client is late for a session the session cannot be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the trainer is late additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions. If the client arrives more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, the trainer may leave the premises and the appointment may be forfeited.
Long Term Absences - Injury, Illness, Pregnancy & Other
Will be dealt with fairly and on an individual basis. Sessions can be used when you are well and able to do so again. If you are unable to return to the original or an amended version of the training programme after an agreed period of time (6 months or more) the sessions may be refunded.
Contract Cancellation & Refunds Policy
If you decide to cancel your chosen package, refunds will not be provided. If the Client does not adhere to this agreement, Target Personal Training reserves the right to terminate it at any time. In this case, a refund of fees of any uncompleted sessions will be at Target Personal Training's discretion. If you do not provide notice that you wish to suspend your personal training sessions after 2 months it will be assumed that you have cancelled your package and your sessions will be forfeited.
Bootcamp Terms & Conditions
1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOT CAMP MEMBERSHIP
1.1 The following terms and conditions apply to Target Personal Training members inclusive of any members who elect to pay their membership fees in 4 weekly installments, pay as you go and customers who elect to purchase block sessions in full payment.
1.2 A member is someone who attends the classes of Target Personal Training.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF MEMBERSHIP
2.1 The decision to accept the application of a potential member shall be at the sole discretion of Target Personal Training. Target Personal Training reserves the right to verify, or require proof of all information given in order to obtain membership and any fraudulent or wrongful information given in order to obtain such membership could result in the cancellation of all membership rights and lead to the repayment of all monies due to Target Personal Training. If the membership application is accepted by Target Personal Training, membership by the applicant shall commence as stated on the agreement.
2.2 The acceptance of an application for membership of Target Personal Training shall constitute a legally binding agreement between the member and Target Personal Training. The member hereby agrees also to be bound by the Target Personal Training terms, a copy of which is provided on the website.
2.3 Members can attend any session at any venue, please view website for up to date venues, days, times, amendments etc.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
3.1 The member acknowledges Target Personal Trainings obligations and liabilities are defined in this agreement.
3.2 The member is responsible for the consequences of any use of any of the facilities and equipment at Target Personal Training. Target Personal Training will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses, theft or damage to property, whether arising under contract, or otherwise.
4. PHYSICAL HEALTH OF MEMBER
4.1 A member engaging in Target Personal Training activities are responsible for ensuring that they are properly equipped and that their state of health and physical condition are such as not to involve any risk to themselves or any other person taking part . It is hereby understood and agreed Target Personal Training accepts no responsibility for accident, injury, illness, loss or misadventure caused to or suffered by members whilst participating in Target Personal Training fitness classes. Please speak to your instructor if you become ill or injured during your membership. Alternatives will always be available so you can work at your current fitness level.
4.2 The member warrants and also represents that he/she is in good health and is not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise. The member further warrants that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being or physical condition.
4.3 Before attending Target Personal Training Fitness Classes, the member must first complete a Target Personal Training PAR-Q and Informed Consent Form. This form is available by email by request. This form must be presented to the Instructor on their first session.
5.1 The categories of membership are flexi pass (1 class per week) or unlimited pass (unlimited classes per week). The categories of block booking are 6, 10, 20 sessions. Other categories are Pay As You Go (single session bookings).
5.2 Other categories of membership shall be stipulated by Target Personal Training from time to time and special offers may be offered in exception to the above.
5:3 All categories shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions of Membership which are in force at the time.
6. MEMBERSHIP CHARGES & PAYMENT OPTIONS
6.1 All members on 4 weekly subscriptions are liable to pay all 4 weekly membership fees irrespective of actual usage of Target Personal Training Fitness Classes.
6.2 Membership subscriptions are automatically deducted from the card provided every 4 weeks to the value. The membership starts from the date first payment is received and continues until you terminate in line with section 7.
6.3 Minimum membership term is 1 months full price. If you have a discount code the full price starts from the end of the discounted month/s.
6.4 Payments for blocks of 6,10 or 20 sessions are by full payments only. Blocks are valid for 2 or 3 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stipulated by special conditions attached to an offer.
6.5 Single Pay As You Go Sessions must be paid in full.
6.6 Target Personal Training reserves the right to increase Membership fees with one months’ notice. If paying by subscription unless written notice is received by Target Personal Training no less than 10 days before the increase you will be deemed to have automatically accepted these changes.
6.7 No refund for non-usage of Target Personal Training memberships, block packages or single PAYG sessions. Sessions cannot be rolled over to following weeks or months.
6.8 Your membership, block package, offer is personal to you and cannot be assigned or transferred to another individual
6.9 Lapses in membership payment will incur an Administration charge of £12.
6.10 If you don’t pay your membership fee on time, you will receive an email to let you know. We will continue to attempt to collect your subscription, unless you contact our membership team to arrange alternative payment.
7. MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION
7.1 A member whose membership is terminated by Target Personal Training shall forfeit all privileges of membership with immediate effect without an entitlement to any claim for any refund of their monthly membership fee.
7.2 Causes for termination. The following reasons may be acceptable to Target Personal Training subject to formal agreement; Illness: with letter from GP or referring Doctor, Re-location: proof of new address required, Bankruptcy, Imprisonment.
7.3 Cancellation or suspension of membership; you may cancel or suspend your membership providing 28 days’ notice in writing by email. If a payment is due within the cancellations term this will be taken.
7.4 Complaints must be made within 28 days from the start of a membership.
8. EXPULSION OF MEMBERS OR TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP BY TARGET PERSONAL TRAINING
8.1 Target Personal Training may expel members or may terminate the membership of any member:
8.1.1 without notice and with immediate effect if the member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of a complaint by another member or group of members, is such that in the reasonable opinion of Target Personal Training, it may be injurious to the character, name or interests of Target Personal Training or is such that it renders the member unfit to associate with other members of Target Personal Training.
8.1.2 By notice in writing if any part of the monthly membership charge which is due and payable remains unpaid 14 days after the due date for payment.
9. TARGET PERSONAL TRAINING FACILITIES
9.1 Target Personal Training reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the location or type of facilities provided without notice and Target Personal Training shall not be liable for any inconvenience caused by building works, road works and for the provision of essential maintenance services, due to matters beyond our control or improvement works.
10. PLANNED SESSIONS
10.1 On very rare occasions an instructor may be ill or unable to attend, we will try our very best to find a suitable replacement as soon as possible to ensure the planned session goes ahead. If a suitable instructor cannot be found in time for the session, the session will be cancelled. Target Personal Training shall endeavour to give members reasonable notice of cancellation. No refund or compensation will be awarded.
10.2. Due to extreme weather conditions and health and safety, on very rare occasions the session may be cancelled. Target Personal Training shall endeavour to give members reasonable notice of cancellation. No refund or compensation will be awarded.
10.3 Information in relation to Target Personal Training venue timetable is available on the website. All updates, session time amendments and further information will be available on the website. We recommend you view the website on a regular basis to keep yourself updated. Updates are also entered onto the Target Personal Training facebook networking site.
10.4 Target Personal Training will be closed for a period of 6 weeks during every year for short periods including Christmas and in addition all bank holidays therefore all membership prices include these planned closure periods. However we will add on sessions if we close for any time additionally to the 6 weeks planned closures. Please view the Target Personal Training facebook page for closures.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY
11.1 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required for all classes. Notice of less than 24 hours will incur a full payment of the session fee or that session to be lost
11.2 Flexi pass memberships or unlimited memberships cannot roll over sessions to following weeks, months or be reimbursed for missing sessions. If your membership ends you will need to pay per session from date the membership was terminated.

Target Personal Training reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any time or if the purchaser does not meet the terms and conditions and no refund will be due.
